PARK OF INSCRIPTION

Jl. Tanah Abang 1 , Jakarta

Once the Kebon Jahe Cemetery, important figures from the colonial era are buried here, including Olivia Raffles, wife of British Governor general Sir Stamford Raffles, who died in 1814. The park is now dedicated to inscriptions, with a displayof eulogies for various prominent Dutch figures such as Major General J.H.R. Kohler, Dr. W.F. Stuterheim, Dr. F. Roll, Pieter Erberveld and others.

Opening hours: Mon-Thurs 8am-3pm; Fri8am-11am; Sat 8am-2pm.
